I guess I am very rich...looking back at my childhood mental list.
I can't help but wonder what my kids will think 'rich' is as they grow up. My prayer is that they'll feel rich in God's love ...cuz that's what really matters!

It's amazing our perspectives when growing up, isn't it!?
Wow. Yea, I don't think I thought about being rich much until 7th grade and then it was all about what brand clothes you wore---"Guess" was the big thing. I remember my mom telling me even if she could afford to buy $50-$60 jeans she wouldn't! I totally get it know.
When you look at all we have -- we really are very rich. Amazing, isn't it?
Good post -- good perspective.
It's a wonder what we thought of as rich when we were kids and then when we grew up and got jobs, forgot about those things....I hadn't thought about cold cereal or satellite t.v. until just a few weeks ago.
Sigh. I hope our kids think of rich as having a family and many friends that love you and care for you, and full tummies and warm beds and a God that will be with them wherever they go.
:) i used to think people were rich if they had pizza pops for lunch!!!!
That is so neat and SO true!! LOL
