I was going thru all my pictures this summer. This picture of my two kids simply warmed my heart. These two kids are polar opposite yet best friends! We have 1/2 acre lot and they chose to sit together. I can just imagine their conversation.Son," do you think spiders can spin a web to catch a fox?"
Girl,"no, just birds...but I just saw one fly."
Son, " you did? Where did it fly to? Should we try to catch it in our net?"
Girl," well, maybe it was a fly...and I just want to sit here"
Son," should we talk about peter pan or pirates?"
Girl," It doesn't matter...as long as we can say Tinkerbell too"
Son," sure. hey, remember when we dressed up as pirates?"
Girl," yeah, that was fun..."
I just love how they care so much about each other. They respect each other's feelings and I truly feel so blessed to watch them grow up, by each other's side!

It is pretty awesome to see the relationship between our kids blossom. Man, sometimes I get teary eyed to think that one day, I won't be around to take care of them, but they will always have each other.
And it's moments like you caught that sustain us when they are fighting like cat and dog and driving you crazy (because they really do love each other!)
So great to see. My son was just talking about his friend yesturday and he thought it was weird that his friend got along with his own sister. "Thay really love and respect each other, mom."
It warms my heart to see siblings show their love to each other.
