" I want to be a Trophy Mommy"

I have been getting all sorts of help this week, seeing though I have been ill. This cold has really set me back. I am weary, tired and sore. I'm not trying to be complaining because I have my health, my hubby has a job and I feel so at peace...lots to reflect over my Thanksgiving Weekend!

My kids have stepped up and have helped do chores to "help mommy". This has warmed my heart. I love that they see when I'm feeling sick and without asking, they want and choose to be "mommy's helpers".

As I was vaccuming the baby's room after I had re-organized the toys, clothes and shelves, my girl asked to vaccum the floor. She ran to her room, picked up her medal from soccer and started her chore.
She very proudly stated, "I want to be a Trophy Mommy". I just melted. My head hurt to laugh but these precious moments, it didn't matter...I just had to laugh!

She also helped me feed her sister earlier that morning while I was hacking up a lung...the truth is more ended up in her mouth than usual!

Thanks sweetie for loving on me when I was so sick! And if you want to be a mommy when you grow up, you will be amazing! You have such a kind and precious heart! I pray that I can be a good example for you to follow.

How precious!

I hope that you are feeling better and that you will enjoy some turkey this weekend! Are you making the Reimer trip this weekend?

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!

Your kids have always been like that. I remember back to when Ryan was your only child -- he would make you sit down and rest when you weren't feeling great. Such thoughtful kids...

That is just precious. Her thoughtfulness is a reflection of you and you are a reflection of Him.
