I grew up close to my sister though she was 3 years older. And though we cannot talk and see each other as much as I'd like due to our locations, jobs and we keep taking turns having babies, I just love how we are each other's biggest fans.
Now I get to watch my two girls be sisters. Yes, they are young. Yes, they do fight. And the youngest still doesn't talk...but they show each other love daily and momentarily.
They are happier together than apart.
After naptime is cuddle time as they have spent...oh, the past 2 hours apart! I just had to capture this moment...and savour every morsel of it!
(I do think that they have become so gentle and loving...thanks to their big brother!)

There is nothing like the bond of siblings, especially sisters. It's so comforting to know that no matter what, they will always have each other. How special that the girls have a good relationship! What a blessing!

aww! nothin lika sista!!! i was soooo glad that i could bring my oldest a sista. and vice versa. and you are so right -- the love is soo sweet. i see it already. and eliora is only 4 months old! her eyes get sooo bright and she smiles big when shiloh enters the room. oh -- the love!!!
that is so sweet. Oh, I never had a sister...and It looks like it may be the same for my little girl :( That makes me sooo sad! We (she and I) are still praying and not giving up yet.
I hear ya. My girls fight like CATS and DOGS (well, worse actually!), but through it all, that sisterly love is still there.
