I have always heard this from others. I am relieved though b/c it makes me realize that our systems are really trying to protect these sweet little ones.
i am happy too that they( the gov't) are protecting these precious children...thankfully, we have passed our homestudy, social worker loves our home and our parenting style yet now we wait for up to 2 years...for this moment to happen. the most emotional and stressful pregnancy i have ever had (but I love that Kris is pregnant with me!!!)but do I ever need patience!!!
LOL... Been there, done that! A friend of mine told me that she kept everything so that when her daughter would tell her parents that they really didn't want her, they could show her all the work they went through to get her. It's kinda funny, but so true.
Wow! That's a heck of a lot of paperwork. Good for you for plugging along and congrats on the approval. Now the hard part comes, waiting...prayers with you guys!

I'm sure some of the paperwork seems unnecessary -- but it is reassuring to know that they won't just give a kid to anybody for any reason.
