Every minute, I'm up to something...whether it's sporting a new hat or eating markers...but I think mommy will be so proud cuz placed the cap back on the chewed marker! Mom's rule!
My mommy and my daddy, and siblings and I went outside to play in the snow. We had fun. I got to go on skates for the first time this year, and was able to ride in my sled! My mom tried taking some pictures of me but I didn't want her to fuss over me...I just wanted to be picked up.
I was ready to go inside the house and warm up. Since my mom was wanting to start on supper, she told me that I needed to go play for a bit until she could hold me. Since I hadn't been inside the house for about an hour, and the fact the I wanted to be held, there was much I need to do to show my frustration and destroy. First, I threw all the library books all over the floor. And then with ease dumped out the toy basket in the living room, preceding to the bedrooms to dump the toy boxes and grabbing anything on a shelf and tossing it across the room. I, then found that the bathroom was open and unrolled a roll of toilet paper and tried eating as much as I could...since it wasn't my favorite, I ran into the kitchen. I pulled the tablecloth and there just happened to be 2 full cups of water that splashed on the floor. After dancing in the water, I went into the kitchen where my mom was trying to make pizza dough. When she opened the fridge to look for ground flax, I snuck behind her and reached for my sister's full cup of milk in the fridge door and dumped it all over mommy and the floor. Before my mom could get me away from the mess, I lay on the floor right in the milk puddle and started making 'snow angels'. The milk was splashing everywhere before my mom could reach for me...but it worked!
I got her full attention.
I was back in her arms...exactly where I wanted to be.
I smiled and lay my wet cheek and hair on her shoulder...I love you mommy!

Oh I love this post! But you have the patience of a saint compared to me!
Patience indeed!!!!
I think the saying should be "no yelling over spilled milk" :)
Very sweet post.
I love this post and hearing what Jess is all into. I can't believe how busy that little cutie is!
Oh, I remember days like this! Believe it or not, you're gonna miss these days! Precious!
I love the part of making snow angels in the spilled milk. Thanks for your honesty as it so comforting to hear there are other very busy toddlers in this world.
Great post!!! Loved it!!
Sigh, what a crazy time had by all. You know, when you write it like that, then I realize that despite the spills, the messes, the tantrums, the yelling...it's all because they want to spend every moment with you. That's devotion, eh?
