This hasn't been an easy week for me.
I have felt weary and burdened.
Emotional.
Exhausted.
In the midst of this chaos, I have said things that I regret. To people I love...which has caused me more regret, more guilt, more tears...
Through this difficult time, I have prayed. For peace and forgiveness as well as praying a blessing on those I have hurt, knowingly and unknowingly.
God sent someone into my day right when I needed her. She listened. She supported. She prayed. She hugged. She blessed me.
Several hours later, my doorbell rang. There at the door was this sweet, kind friend. With a handful of gifts to bless me...to lift me up in a practical way. I was speechless. I cried. I was emotional. But I felt healed. I was heard. God heard my prayers and sent this miracle to my life, exactly when I needed it.

I had that *kinda* happen to me a few months ago. We just moved here to NC and I was in the "woe is me" mode... have no friends.. blah.. blah.
Then Abby says, "You have friends mom." The doorbel rings and the Fedex guy is holding a HUGE box of sweet gifts all my friends back in Memphis put together.
I couldn't help but laugh.. the way God works, but I also felt dumb for not having faith that His plan is perfect, you know?
I am so glad He blessed you. Our blogs are close today! God is always working!
It is so nice when we can see God so tangibly in our lives. I am happy that you are doing better. Your friendship is such a blessing.

Oh sweet sister--so happy you found your way back to the joy and peace that comes from Him! Don't think you are alone--we all have these days. I use to beat myself up after them--now I praise Him for bringing me back quicker and quicker!!!!
