This meal was very quiet around our table.
This is coming to the part of the season that we can enjoy the fresh goodness of gardens...and thankfully, in this instance, it was someone else's garden and their gracious heart.

Ahhhh...corn on the cob!! Can you believe that I didn't like corn until... two years ago? I missed out on this absolutely delicious treat for 25 years!! (I liked it when i was very little, and then stopped). Oh, silly me! I would have to say that it would be my favorite summer treat!
I'm going to have to get my hands on some before it's too late! Most of mine didn't come up and the ones that did didn't grow well.
oh yummo! i need to get meself to a grocery store or nearby farmer and pick some up! those pics are making me drool. (and it ain't a pretty sight)
Oh yes, corn on the cob is a fav of ours too! Anika was "allowed" yesterday to have her on the "cob" for the first time...I'm a mean mommy judging by your pics! ha.ha.ha.

My daughter loves corn. I woudl have to say we have been eatign to many skinny cows for summer. Well actually year round.
