You know those days...

It could have been one of those days! You know those days...when you start your day with no sleep due to a sick baby all night, a cloudy and windy day which limits what you can do with your kiddos and to top it off, hubby is out golfing after work until long after the kiddos are in bed...so it's just a l-o-n-g day...One of those days!

But I didn't have to search for positive moments. In fact, my kiddos were just a wealth of sweetness...my smile amongst the craziness! I definitely felt God near each time I heard their blurbs of cuteness and I want to savour each one of them...

*I awoke this morning, with my son jumping into my bed whispering into my ear "mommy, it's only 6:30(am) and I'm already done my chores for the day!"

*My daughter runs to her room to sulk, my son pipes up,"even if you don't want to play with me, I'll still love you!"

*I'm serving some dessert for the kids after supper, my daughter says, "no thank you for the ice cream. I would prefer to not have dessert tonite!"

*I offered them a show to break up the latter part of the day, "no thanks mommy, did you forget that we already watched a show this morning?"

*"mommy, we will just sit on the couch and read stories so you can deal with the baby, k?"

It could have been one of those days. And I am so thankful for God's hand in making it much more workable than I could ever imagine.

So true. Such an encouragement to see past what can be an obstacle and what really is an encouraging time. Thanks Annie. Your insight helps me during crazy days.

Ok, I need to know what prayer you're praying at night because when I have "one of those days" its usually just that... "one of those days."

I like to think God gives me those days because He knows I can handle them, but...........................................................................................................uh.................................................................Not so much.
