This past while, Kris and I have been caring for our lil girl. She is so amazing, precious and just loves life. Her positive outlook despite her skin condition, makes me a better person. She suffers from eczema. We have the creams, ointments and specialists apointments planned...though we must wait until Christmas to see our next doctor. This poor lil girl is so itchy, and uncomfortable, she cries all. night. long. And we hold her during the night as we wait for another antihistamine dose to take effect. She scratches so much that she bleeds through her bandaids, socks and clothes to her sheets. and it looks so sore. We are looking into alternative care for her as what the medical system has, is not helping/working for her. What amazes me the most is when she awakes in the morning, she bounces into the room, says "good morning. I had the best sleep ever" with the biggest smile and arms ready to give a hug. The strength God has given her, amazes me. And as we try to figure out where to go from here, we hang to our Father for strength and direction like only He can give.

Oh, that must be so hard for you! Poor girl. I pray that somehow, sometime, sooner than later, she get relief and that God will heal her skin. But in the meantime, my she continue to encourage you!
That is just heart-breaking to have to watch her suffer like that. But how amazing at her attitude. That is definitely one special little girl you are raising!
Andrea I am so sorry that you she has to deal with that. It is hard to see a child suffer. We will pray along with you that God will bring her healing and that you will be able to find a solution!! All the best...
How difficult it must be to watch your child in pain constantly. Anika and I have been praying for her and hopefully this new direction you are looking at for treatment is effective!
I am so sorry that she has been suffering from this so much... I think one of the hardest things is watching our children in pain. I can't imagine watching it over and over again.
Praying for you....
Excema is sooo hard to deal with. Right now my Abby is going through this and Rudy's is getting worse. I know all too well about the bloody sheets from them scratching all night.
I will say a prayer for her and for you. Being a Momma can be so challenging especially when we see our little ones struggling.
thank you all for your encouragement. much appreciated.
