When I booked the photographer for our family pictures, I asked her if you would take some couple pictures too. Since we never had engagement pictures and our wedding pictures had us growing shadows out of our heads, I was super excited!
It may be 12 years after the fact.
It may be after 3 babies and a cancelled adoption.
It may be after countless jobs, schooling, life changes and many more sleepless nights.
It may be after a painful disagreement that has left us stunned or an amazing laughing moment, leaving our abs aching.
It may be after we've taken each other for granted or sung each other's praises.
Whatever the case, this picture isn't just the typical engagement picture dreaming of our lives together...it's the real thing!
