The bad and the good

The bad:
*I woke up way too early (5 am)
*heard a bump while I drove into town for a run
*bad leg only allowed me to walk
*heard a hissing sound when I parked my car
*when I came back my tire was completely flat
*I didn't have a wallet with me
*nor a cell phone
*when I borrowed a phone 2 hours later, no one was answering my calls for help
*felt overwhelmed about another bill to pay for
*my emotional state that caused me to wake up early was something between depths of despair and heartbreak which brought its own case of tears

The good:
*I decided to go for a walk (5:45am)
*Kris was working from home before his off-site meeting (tee time for those that can't read my sense of humour
*I parked in front of a car service station
*I live by a small town where almost everyone knows your name...or at least recognizes you
*no sign of rain or crazy weather
* I've been trying to make some positive perspective changes...looking for the good in every situation
*Rather then hubby upset that I woke him up and change how his morning went, he felt badly that I was stranded
* I walked around town twice and then some more while I waited for some nice person to see me or unlock their business so I could use their phone
* when I got a hold of the mechanic, he told me I'd be the first on his list and within an hour, he called saying the tire was repaired
* it only cost $19 to repair
*I had the ability to pray about this situation that I was faced with as well the condition of my heart.
*I was able to raise my hands up and praise God that He was in control of this mini storm.
*I prayed this week for God to show me His power and control in my life and He heard my plea and comforted me and proved to me that I am His and no matter what happens in my life, He'll take care of it...if I let HIM!!!
AND HE SURE DID!!!
