Nothing quite like prayer

I just tucked my girls into bed. I read from their devotional book and prayed with them. As my girls talked to their Creator, I just listened. They talked about their day, things they have been thinking about, their hopes for and really, whatever came to their minds.
I love how they pray. It was so not complicated. They talked to their Father. He desires to have communication with us. For us to share about our thoughts, feelings, wants, fears...not just our selfish desires nor mundane daily rituals. That is His desire for us.

"Any concern too small to be turned into a prayer is too small to be made onto a burden."~Corrie Ten Boom
I am desiring a quiet time with my Father too. As Easter is tomorrow, there is so much I need to share with Him and so much He can tell me...

I hope you had a blessed Easter Andrea. What a way to bring in the resurrection Sunday than listening to a child speak to God. Amen.
