I was lying to bed in the morning which just rarely happens...kinda dreading the inevitable...life back to normal, the house, the kids waiting for me like time stood still...though the laundry didn't.
She came into my bed and asked if she could cuddle, which really means she wants to talk. We talked about puddles, clothes, breakfast and puppies which was the segue into jobs and that her daddy still had a few more days off work.
"So my brother's business is going to school. And daddy's business is to make windows." she states knowingly...and without missing a beat, she says,"and God's business is people."
I love how little people think. How this precious child reminded me what is really important in light of heaven.
After I thought about her comment, I asked her, "then, what's your business?"
As only she would say, she pipes up, " my business is in the bathroom."
