Wouldn't have it any other way!

I'm talking about my job!
There are days I feel like I'm not very good at what I do, some days I feel prepared and can anything that comes my way.
I'll be the first to say my house isn't always tidy...though I try. My kids sometimes eat pre-packaged food...and sometimes they eat more candy than good calories in a day(typically, not because of me). My kids love to watch TV and they have spent time mindlessly watching the 'babysitter'. I sometimes need to be reminded that there are no clean socks and then spend a late night cleaning clothes for the morning when the rest of the family is fast asleep. I have dreamt of a day without my lil followers underfoot and felt that my need for adult talk/time could be met. I'm pretty sure that's normal.
But I do love this job! From the sick late nights to doing the mundane tasks with 'help' to teaching and guiding our kids to be responsible members of society. I just am so thankfully that I can do this job I love. Some people I know may not understand what I do but that doesn't matter. I love to care on my family! The best part of it is knowing that I could never do my hubby's job, and I deeply respect him for what he does for us. I love that though this world places no financial value on what I do, my hubby is super thankful for what I do and the value I have in our home. Being part of their everyday, helping them learn a task and being the one they run to when they are sad is payment enough! I feel so blessed!
So there you have it... I love my job!
...and I wouldn't have it any other way.
