The Gift

I just love gifts. Small ones or big ones...just love them.Until recently that is when I started noticing a trend in the gift giving department. And since my amazing hubby isn't much of a gift giver...he has gone overboard once again! This week has been a busy work week for him and when he got home late Friday night, I really wasn't expecting anything. Sometimes he'll pick up a movie, or just want to visit winding down from work. Well, this evening, he brought home another nasty flu bug. just like that...and without even asking. He is still sick though but it's more sinus/migraine headcold now. I got it the next day, a wonderful, mild case if one would compare bugs! The baby was irritable and cried the entire weekend and the lil girl, woke up with a raging fever after her nap. The oldest is complaining of a sore tummy so we'll see where that leads. If my math is correct, this would be our third flu bug in 9 weeks...and seeing that we are a family of five...We are barely back on our feet before the next one hits. So here I am, Sunday evening, absolutely exhausted, run down and so looking forward to health and enjoy what this amazing spring has to offer. Thankful, though, that as annoying as influenza is, it's just a flu. We could be really sick with illnesses more painful, more serious and more exhausting. So I will rest tonight and thank My Jesus for giving me the strength to handle this tough weekend and I can say and believe that" I can do all things through Him who gives me strength."

Well, hello Andrea. I'm glad that you are up and running with this blog thing. And I'm sorry to hear there is sickness in your house. But way to keep positive. Praying for you!

I am praying that you guys will be feeling better soon. It's no fun when it gets passed from one person to the next and never seems to leave. Top that all off with a teething baby and you've got a rough time.
