There are days I lose focus on the really important stuff, like the 4 people God has placed in my life. Today, I just felt blessed to be where I am. Having exercised and showered before the kiddos woke up, I was able to surprise them with fresh cinnamon rolls for breakfast. Seeing their faces just made the joy cascade throughout the day. From dressing up in a backwards pumpkin costume to a reading marathon to surprising daddy with a welcome home snowman, I treasured each moment.
The best part of my day though was during my quiet time doing devotions. My daughter came and sat beside me and asked,"mommy, can you read all the red words in the Bible? I want to know all about Jesus." Enough to melt a mother's heart.

i would love to be the kind of woman who not only gets up early enough to exercise and get ready for the day before the kids are up -- but to also bake something fresh for breakfast? if only...you truly are an inspiration to me, andrea.
